Privacy Policy

How Asbestos Abatement Guide handles service enquiries, contact information, authorised project documents, and referral-related disclosures.

Effective date: October 12, 2026

1. Who We Are

Asbestos Abatement Guide (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent information and project-enquiry website. Our website discusses asbestos abatement services and allows visitors to submit enquiries about residential, commercial, or industrial projects in the United States.

We are not an asbestos inspection, testing, removal, disposal, or emergency-response contractor. Submitting a request does not create a contract for abatement work or guarantee a quotation.

2. Information We Collect

When you submit an enquiry, we may collect your name, organisation or role, email address, telephone number, project location, property type, suspected or confirmed asbestos materials, estimated quantities, urgency, project deadlines, worksite constraints, requested contractor qualifications, and other information you enter.

If you choose to upload files, we may collect authorised survey reports, drawings, scope documents, photographs, and other project attachments. Only upload information you are permitted to share. Do not submit medical records, government identifiers, bank details, passwords, or unrelated personal information.

Our hosting and security services may also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser and device details, request timestamps, and security logs. Any additional analytics or cookies must be described here before they are enabled.

3. How We Use Information

We use submitted information to process and assess project enquiries, request clarification, evaluate the relevance of an enquiry, communicate with you, arrange appropriate referral consideration, prevent misuse, maintain records, and meet legal obligations where applicable.

We use optional marketing contact details for updates only when you separately choose that option or another lawful basis applies. Marketing preferences do not affect an RFQ request.

4. Sharing Enquiries With Independent Recipients

With your express enquiry consent, we may disclose your contact details, project description, project location, and authorised attachments to independent asbestos-related service providers and potential enquiry recipients so they can evaluate whether to contact you or provide a quotation. The website operator may receive compensation in connection with qualifying enquiries or referrals. The identities of individual recipients may depend on project relevance and availability.

Independent recipients control their own quotation, service eligibility, licensing, communications, privacy practices, and abatement work. We may also share limited data with hosting, storage, security, and communications providers that support the website, or when legally required.

We do not promise that an enquiry will be accepted, matched, or answered. You may contact us to request information about how a submitted enquiry was handled; some disclosures already made to independent recipients cannot be automatically recalled.

5. Consent and Your Choices

Referral consent is requested separately at the point of RFQ submission. Optional marketing consent is separate and not required. You can request to withdraw future marketing contact or ask us about your personal information using the contact details below.

Depending on applicable US state privacy law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information about certain disclosures of your personal data, or to opt out of certain data sales or sharing. We will review and respond to valid requests under the laws that apply to us and your request. Any required state-specific opt-out mechanisms must be implemented before the site is made operational.

6. Security and Retention

We intend to use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards appropriate for the information collected, including access restrictions, encrypted transport, and private storage of submitted documents. No online system is guaranteed to be secure.

Our retention and deletion policy: We currently retain enquiry records and authorised uploaded documents until they are manually deleted; there is no automatic 90-day deletion schedule. We use stored information to process enquiries, manage referrals and maintain related records. You can contact us to request deletion or exercise other applicable privacy rights; we review requests and comply with applicable legal requirements. Documents already shared with an independent recipient may be retained separately by that recipient under its own privacy practices.

7. Cookies, Analytics and External Links

The current static landing page does not itself require third-party advertising trackers to display its core content. Hosting infrastructure may use essential technical data to deliver and protect the site. If analytics, advertising pixels, captcha providers, customer relationship software, or other cookies are activated, this policy and any legally required preference controls must be updated beforehand.

When the RFQ form is activated, Cloudflare Turnstile checks automated submission risk, Cloudflare D1 stores enquiry records, and a private Cloudflare R2 bucket stores authorised attachments. Website operators can access these records through restricted administrative tools. An optional notification provider may receive the enquiry reference without the full contents. Review relevant service providers’ privacy information and available opt-out choices where applicable.

Links to federal agency resources or third-party websites are provided for information. Those websites have their own privacy practices.

8. Children’s Information

This website is intended for adults seeking property-related services and is not directed at children. Please do not submit information about children through an RFQ.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this policy to reflect website operations, legal requirements, or changes to information processing. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.

10. Contact and Privacy Requests
